Afternoon speakers include: 

Jerry Hatfield, Retired Director of the USDA-ARS National Laboratory for Agriculture and the Environment, Iowa.  He will discuss the importance of soil health for producers, focusing on carbon (organic matter), water retention, and nutrient cycling.

Etienne Sutton, Center for Regenerative Agriculture, U. of Missouri. Tentatively, she’ll discuss the outlook for regenerative farming and managing cover crop mixes for multiple benefits.

A Farm to Table supper will be cooked on site by local chefs.

Rob Sharkey (Shark Farmer) on RFD-TV will be the after-dinner speaker.
